Varsel - Chamber Ensemble
This work is a play with timbre and temporality. Varsel can be translated as "omen" or “warning“, and relates to the suggestive dissonances that might go unnoticeable if you do not pay enough attention. It might be interpreted as an encouragement to care for the important people and things in life, or to appreciate what you have before it is too late.
I wrote this piece for the chamber ensemble Norrbotten Neo during my studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where the piece was performed and recorded.
